PICOTM Squeegee is designed to be used with a pole with a wooden cone adapter. It works well with certain other poles except those with the thin plastic cones.
A rule of thumb concerning to use on a particular job, is the distance a window is set back from the face of the building. The Swivel Ledger has a plastic part that can and will break if you over stress it. It is designed as an above the shoulder tool when using it on a pole. It will work moving laterally on lower windows but you cannot let the angle of pole in relation to the glass, the grow beyond 45 degrees. When using the Swivel as a hand held tool ,and it is excellent for this, just make sure you move your hand further up the handle grip to towards the elbow on your final stroke. This reduces the possibility of breaking the plastic elbow. I have used a Swivel for five years without ever breaking the elbow, you just have to use care. |
